Thank you for the submission. The spec[1] says "all characters in the Unicode category Ps, Pf, Pi". It would be ideal to use at least one character per the categories. Also, I would be more happy if it's combined with text-indent:1em as it is the most common used scenario, but I know you're not trying to cover combined scenarios this time, so I'd like to honor your decision.
