One last thing: as I was writing [this comment](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/1332#issuecomment-492555433), I realized that with this hypothetical `midpoint` function (and with the possible addition of easing functions in the syntax), browsers can still support their _current_ understanding of color stop position computation (which _I think_ is incorrect), and have a _decoupled_ midpoint function going forward. -- GitHub Notification of comment by danburzo Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3931#issuecomment-492556518 using your GitHub account
