@bungeman if I read the orifinal bug correctly it would affect mymr style fonts and not mym2 . I Myanmar fonts that were developed using a minimal set of opentype feature mainly ligatures and mark positioning. These types of fonts were developed before explicit Myanmar shapers were developed. There are two different issues here: 1) whether spacing should be inserted within grapheme clusters 2) what to do about fonts that misuse ligatures based on old opentype logic that was developed before explicit opentype shaping for those scripts became available.
