Currently, Chrome still renders a vertical-writing button with horizontal text, even when the `appearance: none` is specified on the button, which is frustrating. CSS Implementors seem to be hesitant to allow fully styling control for even a button with `apperance: none`, as the `appearance` doesn't clearly drop "preservation" statments.
