Thank @SebastianZ for the info, this is a great help. According to the [Mozilla bug 125390](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125390), IE6 behaved like what the spec says, but Edge does the same as Gecko/Blink/WebKit. @atanassov do you happen to know the background? I agree with you that if we want to change the behavior, I think we need to extend the syntax. I don't have clear idea which values we should define yet.
