1. given firefox had to remove it from their browser, this is probably not acceptable 2. would work if webkit browsers agreed to fix the case mentioned in my comment above 3. would defeat the reason why we want this property in the first place. 4. would defeat the reason why we want this property in the first place. 5. doesn't solve the problem reported by Mozilla. 6. doesn't solve anything either because we would need to specify the webkit one then.
