Fwiw, my position 100% matches Florian's comment https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/417#issuecomment-264770884 (Also, I don't understand why you think `resolution` is a bad name, that is literally what this is about and what this measure is called everywhere else in the computing world.
