Re: Digital Sovereignty as a unique value proposition of DIDs and a top priority candidate for common good work.

 Hi Bohdan,

I wish we could come up with a simple catchy and clever description of the SSI value proposition. For example, if we could come up with the “opposite of FAGMA” as an acronym, something like...

AMGAF = Advanced Management and Governance of Authentication and Fairness-in-Identity

Something catchy that could express to the general public the idea of SSI as liberating your data from the data robber barons. Maybe DE-SERF? Or FREEDOM?

Cue scene from Braveheart: “Yes! Join RWOT and you may die penniless. Give your data to FAGMA and you will live at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young coders and tell our enemies that they may steal our data but they will never take our self sovereign identity!!!”

Haha, I couldn’t resist. 😆

Which means ultimate privacy and ultimate security over one's digital communications and ownership of digital assets. Anything else either can be done using centralized identifiers or are implications of the enabled digital sovereignty.

I think - yes, yes and yes. They just do not know that they want it.

In the long run, popularization of the Digital Sovereignty concept, will bring customers to all participants in the community.
