Re: [AGENDA] W3C Credentials CG Call Tue, August 7th, 12 noon ET, 9 AM PT

Hi Christopher, All,

If possible, I would like to add an agenda item to the discussion of Proof of Person. I would like to shortly present and discuss Validbook SURLHI - Statement of Unique Representation of Living Human Individual. The gist of SURLHI idea - prove unique representation of human person via analysis of undirected graph of mutual endorsements of SURLHI claims.

Short description of SURLHI life cycle:

- SSIs create SURLHIs (SURLHIs are based on VC spec)

- SSIs provide proofs of the validity of their SURLHIs (e.g. via ownership over digital assets - social network profiles, blogs, etc)

- SSIs mutually endorse SURLHIs creating Endorsers Graph (when Endorsers Graph is looked from the perspective of one SSI it becomes Endorsers Ego Graph)

- SURLHI becomes valid after arbitration process

-- arbiter looks at proofs provided by SSI

-- arbiter analyses undirected graph of endorsements (Endorsers Ego Graph) by looking at the number of connections to Giant Component, number of short paths to

globally and locally known trustworthy individuals

-- arbiter makes a judgment call

- SURLHI revalidated after every 3 years to ensure that SSI with SURLHI represents a living human person.
