Hi Community Council, Sorry to send this on a Friday afternoon, but I've updated a page with notes on plans for improvements to CGs/BGs in 2013: http://www.w3.org/community/council/wiki/Cg_2013 Some of these topics (e.g., charter templates, language alerting people to lack of charter, distinguishing reports from rec-track deliverables) we have discussed. I have put in the state of our progress as well as some new suggestions in the section on Reports. Some of the topics have to do with infrastructure improvements. I had hoped to start a beta period for a redesigned site by now, but we are not there yet. However, we are advancing and I like the direction of the new skins. Still other topics have to do with some policy changes (e.g., chair selection algorithm, adopting CC-BY). This list is not prioritized, and I do not have a time frame for completing this work. I have not yet lined up resources to do some of the infrastructure work, and there are competing priorities (both for my time and systems team time). I wanted to share these notes with you and am happy to organize a call if there are any topics people would like to discuss.
