Re ACTION-1 I agree with Chaals when he recommends the following - a couple of elaborations might be useful:

It would be useful to understand what timetable the CSS group is working to on any of these

It would be useful for those of us who do not follow the workings of the CSS group closely if someone could summarise or make reference to any such proposals so we can form a group position.
