RE: Regarding COGA task force sessions at CSUN

Hi Jennie,

This is a wonderful, thoughtful, and very-generous offer! Helping people make their presentations more cognitively accessible is something I know you would be great at.

I decided not to present at CSUN this year. Though I always make my presentations accessible to people with physical disabilities, for next year’s CSUN, I will take you up on your offer if you are still willing and have the time to help.

Subject: Regarding COGA task force sessions at CSUN

Hi,
In past CSUN conferences, I have noticed that some presenters are less experienced with creating accessible presentations.
This is for both the information they display on the screen and the electronic versions they share of the handouts.
I have expertise in both; including the preparation of electronic versions of handouts as PDFs or accessible PowerPoints.
I’m offering to help any COGA taskforce member who is presenting a CSUN session as part of the COGA task force support to make their PowerPoints and handouts accessible to for those attending the session (font size, color, number of words on a slide, etc.) and accessing the handouts.
I would need a few weeks turn around time, so if interested, please contact me, and we can schedule some time to chat.
