update on Finding Help proposed success criteria

Hi,
Today was meeting #2 to discuss the proposed success criteria (SC) on finding help.
First, a big thank you to many people:

  * David McDonald for supporting the COGA perspective during the call. He reminded the group that the director of the W3C during a TPAC meeting had asked the group to incorporate more COGA into the work.
  * Rachael spoke up several times in the 2 meetings to support the SC, and to help reframe the conversation to help others understand the intent.
  * Alastair for some creative ideas on how to reword in order to meet both the intent of the proposed SC and the requests of the working group.
  * Abi and E.A. sent feedback during the week, and Lisa during last week’s call. All of this helped get the draft ready.
The Accessibility Guidelines Workgroup decided that this SC is important, and while it is not yet ready for the next phase, they would like to discuss it again.
The plan is to discuss it on December 10.
I cannot be at this Thursday’s COGA call, but wanted to provide this update. I will be reaching out to the COGA list, and to specific members, as I gather the information requested by the Accessibility Guidelines Workgroup and prepare for the December 10 call.
Thanks,
Jennie
