RE: Call For Consensus. publish the appendix as a separate document

+1

I agree that it should be a separate document. As an Appendix it is so large, although I hope this does not mean it gets lost in the mound of documents that seem to be around.

Best wishes

Subject: Call For Consensus. publish the appendix as a separate document

Hi Folks

Call For Consensus (CFC) — ends Sunday 8th of July at 12:00 noon Boston time (A bit longer the usual becuse of the holiday)

We would like the appendix on how to make content usable for people with leaning and cognitive disabilities<https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-gap-analysis/#a-appendix-making-content-usable-for-people-with-cognitive-and-learning-disabilities> of the gap analysis<https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-gap-analysis/> to be published as a separate document.

We discussed this in last weeks call as part of the effort to make it easier for people to find the content that they need.

The section on how to make content usable for people with leaning and cognitive disabilities<https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-gap-analysis/#a-appendix-making-content-usable-for-people-with-cognitive-and-learning-disabilities> is for content developers. However, the rest of the gap analysis is mainly for people inside the W3C to understand what needs to happen in the W3C standards world. That content is harder for content developers to understand. Having advice for them at the end of advice for working groups inside the W3C is confusing.

Note that silence (non votes) will be understood as agreement.

Thanks and ...
