I am afraid I have to agree with Neil - one has to learn a completely new language to use Github.

Git hub is part of the problem.

How about Github? Github has additional functionality other than the typical repo structure. For instance gists which are basically very simple text files that are very easy to use and create.

I'm fine with Google docs as well if it works for others..

Thaddeus

We were talking at the Chairs breakfast yesterday about Google Docs being forbidden in certain countries and by certain companies, but I don’t know if it affects anyone who’d like to contribute to this. If so, maybe we could look for open source collaborative editing tools that might not be restricted.

Hi Lisa,

A good resource, published a couple days ago, is:

• A11y Hacks for the Blind: Navigating GitHub & the W3C<http://www.deque.com/blog/birkirs-bats-flight-accessibility-hacks-blind/>

Google Docs should be okay for me.

Hi folks

I know a lot if us struggle with using the w3c technology and processes. I would like to set up s page for feedback and suggesting that we can give to the w3c so they can make it easier for us and encourage participation.

Would a google doc be a good way to collect this feedback? Is it ok for the low vision and blind members.

All the best
