it has been hard for me to separate out some of the issues here without doing 2 different suggested BPs so I'll send along both 5.x.y_CSS and 5.9.4_Javascript and folks should feel free to hack and slash as I am still learning what the group needs to see the idea here is that both CSS and Javascript can be set up to gracefully degrade or progressively enhance based on client capabilities discovered at run-time if the site and the pages are structured well (separating content/presentation/behaviors) -- jeffs
