We didn't limit it, but everything we could think of at least had a
reason for the length of the list.
Most prominent example, a list of countries....long, yes, but desirably

No.  It truly measures color values.
While readability may be further diminished by font size it also a best
practice not stipulate font size so that the device may choose the font
appropriate for its display.
