Bioschemas Dataset versus Google Dataset

Hi Jo

Following up on our discussion today.

The two relevant web pages are
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/dataset
http://bioschemas.org/specifications/Dataset/specification/

For the google required/bioschemas minimal properties, Google require 4 properties while Bioschemas requires 7. The Bioschemas 7 are a superset of the Google 4, with the additional properties being: identifier, keywords, and url. (The Bioschemas specification does not explicitly state that the context needs to be declared.)

For the google recommended/Bioschemas recommended properties, Google has 8 properties, which include keywords and url, and Bioschemas have 8 properties. Google has sameAs which we do not. The others are covered by the Bioschemas minimal or recommended properties. Bioschemas additionally includes properties for linking to the download, data catalog (repository), creator, and licence.

I hope that helps
