AWWSW Telecon Tuesday 2011-04-12

As I said earlier I'd like to try to decide on Tuesday whether the
issue 57 document is to be a JAR document or an AWWSW document.

I'll be doing some more work on it tomorrow (Friday) and maybe over
the weekend. Then I'll freeze on Sunday, and then start keeping a
change log, if I make any changes between Sunday and Tuesday.

Planned changes:
  - Flesh out paragraphs that are incomplete
  - Say a bit about the conneg / fragids rathole (as a hash URI weakness)
  - Add diagrams for 5.5 and 5.6 (but otherwise I'll try to avoid
rewrites, as I'm pretty happy with the way they are)

I ought to do this but probably won't get around to it:
  - look at SWBP vocabularies and cool uris for semweb notes for
inspiration on topics and tone (or something to react to / clarify)

I still haven't gotten the critical readings I had hoped for; I guess
everyone really is tired of the subject. I think I'm at a point of
diminishing returns trying to do this in AWWSW. My hope is that by
announcing on www-tag I'll get some fresh help.

I think what I'd like to do is aim for some kind of AWWSW decision on
endorsing this thing at our next telecon (April 12). If there is
agreement (perhaps subject to conditions), I'll plan to ship it as an
AWWSW document. Otherwise, I think I'll have it be a personal draft,
since I know how hard it is to get even two people to agree on
something.

I'm very bad at finishing documents, as some of you may remember with
the HCLS URI note; I generally need help in the form of critical
readers telling me the obvious problems I don't see. I can proceed
without, but the process is slower and the product poorer.
