This conflicting call starts at 11 EST, 30 minutes before the BG call.
A two hour block is reserved but unsure what the actual duration will be.

Do please hold the call without us. I have prepared some notes to contribute, inline below, to your proposed agenda items.

We are tentatively meeting with Web Commerce Interest Group on Automotive Web Payments on Thursday morning.

Based on the other groups meeting on Monday and Tuesday, I think WebAppSec and Web of Things may be worthwhile. Other candidates include Web Real-Time Communications (Web RTC) and Second Screen. While we are certainly interested in Web Performance and subsequently Web Assembly, I am not sure we have anything specific needs to contribute to them.
Performance and benchmarks comparing Qt and HTML5 are an ongoing debate within the Auto industry. Personally I think the comparison with a non- optimized browser runtime is unfair and ACCESS, Visteon and others may wish to speak up.

Rudi, Patrick B and I made some progress on signals. Patrick added a couple issues (JSON fragments, OpenID? security, etc) to Github.

Rudi was going to see if he can divulge additional systems or organizations' dependencies on VSS so we can understand implications of modifying the tree structure. Patrick was going to see how much VW is willing/able to switch to the current tree. After it should be a matter of negotiating to meet in the middle, figuring out the trade offs.
