   the W3C Automotive side
   ... and will attend the GENIVI meeting in October

   ... we've been holding 2 slots: us friendly one and

   paul: what is your thought about the participation in the AMM
   schedule?

   phlippe: W3C is a W3C Member

   paul: some of the W3C participants are GENIVI Members
   themselves as well

   philippe: if people are interested, we should be able to find a
   way

   stacy: W3C meeting as well during the October AMM?

   paul: yes, the WG/BG will hold a f2f meeting

   stacy: same location in SFO?

   paul: yes

   stacy: do you want me to attend some of the sessions?

   paul: Oct. 20-21 for the W3C meeting. Karin is helping us for
   logistics.

   philippe: good
   ... we have a separate call for security
   ... let's use this monthly call for synchronization

   stacy: can start to join the W3C security call too

   philippe: we have this call on 4th Tuesday for the
   synchronization
   ... we have also the W3C/Auto BG call on the 2nd Tuesday as
   another coordination event
   ... we need to wait for Philippe Colliot for LBS
   ... Rudi, do you have update on VSS?

   rudi: demo during AMM
   ... last week there was W3C TPAC meeting in Lisbon
   ... discussed current draft
   ... first draft spec of vss was presented and well received

   team about how the proxy would work, etc.
   ... browsers running on the system for system functions

   stacy: browser based attack
   ... when the details are on discussion, would be interesting

   rudi: very valuable

   stacy: there are a few attacks went through the vehicle systems

   (short discussion on tesla hacking and uconnect (Jeep) hacking)

   paul: would be good to have an overview of typical hacks during
   the W3C F2F at the AMM
   ... we'd have a summary of our work

   stacy: will look at my calendar

   philippe: quick update on the tuner work?

   paul: Ryan Davis from iHeartMedia is working on that

   (Philippe Colliot joins)

   pc: migration of all the API from Genivi design to Franca
   ... recently achieved
   ... the goal is publishing the Genivi API using Franca
   ... and generate navigation Web API based on Franca
   ... would like to take part of the API design
   ... identify the difference between Franca version and WebIDL
   version
   ... I'm not a specialist of WebIDL, so taking longer than
   expected
   ... really appreciate if anybody could help
   ... Qing An had sent out some examples
   ... would like to discuss it during AMM
   ... but really need somebody who has expertise on WebIDL and
   JavaScript
   ... that is the situation

   paul: we should have a session on that
