Re: Formal Call for Consensus

All,

There were no objections for the Call for Consensus, hence, I believe it has passed. So we have a First Public Working Draft!

Ted and/or Kaz would you post this draft on the W3C site as a FPWD?

Thanks,

All,

I sent out a call for comments recently, but it has been requested that a formal Call for Consensus be sent out to the group. So here goes (with verbiage borrowed from the Sysapps Group):

This is a formal Call for Consensus (CfC) to publish the First Public Working Draft (FPWD) of the Vehicle and Data specs:

--http://cdn.rawgit.com/w3c/automotive/master/vehicle_data/data_spec.html

This CfC provides a "record the group's decision to request advancement".

By publishing this FPWD, the group sends a signal to the community to begin reviewing the document. The FPWD reflects where the group is on this spec at the time of publication; it does not necessarily mean there is consensus on the spec's contents.

If you have any comments or concerns about this CfC, please send them to member-automotive@w3.org<mailto:member-automotive@w3.org> by June 6 at the latest. Positive response is preferred and encouraged and silence will be considered as agreement with the proposal.
