Are the rules just about representing WCAG SC Failures (basically you did something wrong)?

What about the design patterns in ARIA 1.1 and HTML5?

ARIA 1.1 and HTML5 design patterns are what the OAA Rules are based on:

as you may have heard, we set up an additional call focusing on rule design.
And you may also have heard, that the rules went to GitHub.
