Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Chairs,

This is a Call for Review of a proposed recharter for the Audio Working
Group:
   https://www.w3.org/2011/audio/charter/audio-2019-ac.html

The group will continue to work on the Web Audio API 1.0, Web Audio API
2.0, and Web MIDI API specifications.

In addition, the proposed charter adds a new deliverable, Audio Device
Client. This has been incubated in the Audio Community Group.

[...]
The proposed staff time for this group will be 0.1 FTE.

Diff from the current charter is available at [1].

Note: If the new charter gets approved, it will trigger the start of the
45 days grace period [2]. Existing participants of the Working Group
under the current charter are required to re-join the group because this
new charter adds a new deliverable in-scope.

The Audio Working Group's current charter [3] is hereby extended until
14 February 2020, to accommodate the charter review period.

The group is chaired by Raymond Toy (Google) and Matt Paradis (BBC).
More information about the group and information about participation can
be found on its home page [4].

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Chris Lilley <chris@w3.org>, Audio Working Group Team Contact.

This charter review and extension follow section 5 of the W3C Process
Document:
   https://www.w3.org/2019/Process-20190301/#GAGeneral

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
