RE: Agenda for Monday, 31 October 2016 ARIA Authoring Practices Guide Task Force

Both to [Can I Use](http://caniuse.com/#feat=addeventlistener) and [MDN](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/EventTarget/addEventListener) say addEventListener is supported from IE9 onwards.

Can you check if you’re running in IE11 mode? Maybe quirks mode is enabled?

I’ve done some work on the tabs. Will look into the issue Bryan brought up. Off the top of my head support for addEventListener was added to Internet Explorer in version 9. If I recall that correctly; I will not add support for IE 8.
