Since our review period was initially three months and was then
subsequently extended to over four months, we won't actually extend
the comment period further, and may in fact have published the next
version of the specification before the 26th. However, whether we have
or we haven't, your feedback will definitely be taken into account, so
any input you may have would definitely still be useful. We expect to
remain in the Candidate Recommendation stage for several years, while
we create a test suite and await implementations. And after all, even
once a spec reaches REC, issues can still be found, and still need to
be resolved!
