This seems to leave aria-sort API mapping out in the wild for a while for UIA and AXAPI:
http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-1.1/#aria-sort and  https://www.w3.org/TR/core-aam-1.1/ aria-sort

(because there will be no API mapping for the native concept of sort in tables which one could then reuse for aria-sort)
