There's a nicely hidden "interaction model", which is expressed as a link header. See section 5.2.3.4 in http://www.w3.org/TR/ldp/#ldpc-container Also 4.4.1.2. in http://www.w3.org/TR/ldp/#ldpnr gives a link header on the response to say that the resource is not an RDFSource.
