According to the IANA document
http://www.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/port-numbers~, 991 is
already assigned:
nas 991/tcp Netnews Administration System
nas 991/udp Netnews Administration System

The document lists 992-994 as being free, so maybe just move imaps
to 994.
BTW, I count 504 assigned Well Known TCP ports from 0-1023, 506 if you count
0 and 1023 which are both reserved.
