Re: Last-Modified in chunked footer

If we were to adopt the rule (however qualified) that a broader set
of header fields are valid in the trailer, there would still be a
set that really need to be in the header. I'll throw out a list
based on wanting certain kinds of information before receiving the
  body:

    - fields that govern operation of the recipient directly such as
      Upgrade, Expect, or Host

    - fields that determine whether or not the body is needed at all,
such as Authorization, Range, and the If-* headers

    - fields that are needed to render or interpret the body, such as
      Content-*

Header fields which MUST NOT be sent in the trailer:

    Transfer-Encoding
    Upgrade

    Authorization
    Expect
    Host
    If-Modified-Since
    If-Match
    If-None-Match
    If-Range
    If-Unmodified-Since
    Max-Forwards
    Proxy-Authorization
    Range

    Content-Base
    Content-Encoding
    Content-Language
    Content-Length
    Content-Location
    Content-Range
    Content-Type
