Hello Harald et al.,

The BOCU-1 registration proposal is now two weeks old (2002-jul-09), with one response from Martin (jul09) and one response back from me (jul10).
Since then, there were no further emails about this registration.

I propose now to change the one paragraph that got Martin confused in the way that I described, to:

     CCS & CES: The BOCU-1 charset is a combination of the
     Unicode/ISO 10646 Coded Character Set (CCS) with
     the Character Encoding Scheme (CES) specified in
     the above document. It covers exactly the
     UTF-16-reachable subset of ISO 10646.

(Replaced one instance of " and " with "/", on the second line.)

I further propose to otherwise leave the registration text as is and proceed with the actual registration.
