how to get the lastest version of the SRC - web base says src is 6 years old

Hello,
I am trying to get the latest src to build on my linux box
from the site http://tidy.sourceforge.net/ is appears that changes are
being made.

if i go to here http://tidy.cvs.sourceforge.net/tidy/
the tar listed is 6 years old

i tried from the Code page on HTML tidy
 cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@tidy.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/tidy login

but when i tried anonymous
cvs login: authorization failed: server tidy.cvs.sourceforge.net
rejected access to /cvsroot/tidy for user anonymous
