Tidy says there is an error but does not tell me what

hello,
 
When i run tidy on a really UGLY html , i get the message 1 error found, but
it does not tell me what the error is
 
I got 1246 warnings (yeah i told u it was ugly) , but no error
 
How do i determine what is causing the failure
