Selected Attribute of the Option Tag

I am using then wonderful TidyCOM DLL to convert some HTML code to XHTML.

I would like the Selected Attribute of the Option Tag to be XML Compliant 
looking EXACTLY like this <option selected="selected">, NOT like this 
<option selected>. how can I achieve this?
