Absence of tidying multiple <font face="default">

Dear Dave
Tidy does not clean up this sort of pointless paragraph. 
<p><font face="default"><font face="default"><font face="default"><font face="default"></font><font color="black"><font size="2"></font></font></font></font></font></p>
Also:
<font color="#008000">LDH</font><font color="#008000">
The last two tags are redundant.
Similarly:
<b>*</b><b>*</b>
would be much tidier as <b>**</b>
