A discussion a while ago about the essential exemption in 1.3.4 Orientation brought up an interesting underlying question - should essential content that is exempt be "fully" exempt, even when it does a "doorslam"/"rotate your device" message? https://github.com/w3c/wcag/issues/3302 Happy to make a PR with clarification, once we come to some kind of consensus...
